Okay so its time to change the brakes and pads

basically the car is a 2002 Acura 1.7 EL aka a 02 Civic EX D17 SOHC Vtec motor

which already has discs stock.....

none the less looking at the front calipers, they are old and could possibly obtain

Front Calipers w/ ABS front a 00 GSR

could these GSR Calipers be mounted on to my 7th gen civic, just like the ITR, meaning same measurements to be shaved for the caliper bracket?

The setup I will run if this works is:

Front GSR Calipers w/ Hawk HPS brake pads
OEM Blank Rotors
Motul DOT 4 Brake Fluid

would this work or not?

From what i read, that GSR calipers are the same size as the stock 7th gen Civic calipers

arrrrrr that dont make no sense to me at all, is there actual measurements

or how about a comparison of a GSR Brake pad and a 7th gen Civic brake pad?

I find it so odd that a higher power horsepower car brake calipers would find the brake calipers to be the same as a SOHC 7th gen Civic...

again odd....

Please NOT ITR Setup, this is better blah blah type deal, I know the setup, but will not and repeat will not run setup for my daily driver that will see NO Track or Auto-X Use.

gsr are exactly the same as 7thgen calipers car is heavier need's more brake to answer your question. brake pads are exactly the same to. if you still doubt go onto advanced auto parts and compare part numbers between the gsr and the 7thgen on the calipers they are the same.

I don't see why your afraid of ITR setup it is very street able

it's the NSX caliper combo that you need to be scared of

the accord 98-02 is the same brake+brake pad as well
