Hi guys and gals. Its been awhile since I've owned a Honda but I just acquired my '90 Four-door and figured I'd better get some help. Or should I say " try and get some constructive criticism". Ive owned a '93 Hatch CX with the JDM D15 Vtec (cant remember engine code) and I traded that to Scott at R-Toyz in Phoenix (I think he front halfed it for a ridiculous turbo motor) for work on my '89 Teggy Four-Door Hatch LS Brown Top D16A1, Full Exhaust Custom Modified Air Box and performance clutch. I don't wanna step on any toes just trying to make friends in the scene and help out who I can in the process. I have been building wish list for my civic as I now have the time and money to use in an outlet like a civic. Heres a list of what I plan to do to it. Tell me what you guys think. Please be constructive though. My artist friend is in the process of making a project rendering so as soon as hes got it perfect Ill post it for you guys to see.

Engine/Performance Modifications
None. Planning on a B20 with crower stroker kit and 12.5:1 comp. studded head and block saver. full exhaust, cams, skunk valves and arms, ITB's, MSD Ignition, Dual Oil Filter Relocation Kit, Power Steering Cooler, Trans-Cooler (Automatic), full width radiator with twin fans (Arizona Heat), SVR AGM Battery. Single Carbon Fiber wrapped exhaust can hung up and out.


Suspension/Wheel Modifications
Plans for either/both :

1 Set of '93 VX wheels powder coated with a black lip and pink spokes and center.

1 set of 17" black powder coated steelies with pink powdercoated moonie style center caps

Prefabricated adjustable upper control arms.
Fabricated Adjustable Lower Control Arms.
Skunk2 Coilovers.
Adjustable Mounting PLates.
5-Piece Bracing Kit (E BAY ITEM) Painted Pink


Exterior Modifications
Plans for two-tone flat black and flat pink with the seperation line cutting from the corner of the headlight to the corner of the tailight. Black housing projector/halo style headlights with custom pink leds for the halos and Pink 35W Xenon Hids for Headlights. and black taillight housing with Street Beat Customs LED Tailight Bulbs. Pink Engine bay with All Black Motor Components.
Interior Modifications
Black and Charcoal Suede and Vinyl with all of the suede being done in a diamond stich pattern with a minor pillow to it. Pink Stitching on everything.

Oh yeah. Can anybody help me figure out which transmission I should use since I'm trying to keep it automatic. Dunno much about honda automatics. Can I use A/C with the motor/modifications I plan to run. How much power can I expect to make with this combo? Thanks again guys.

That's a lot of money to put into an older car but hey, I bet it will look sweet. I only have 2 suggestions really, no pink allowed and if you want that much power go with standard!!!

The pink has to stay...lolz. Im no fairy or anything but I love that color. Especially with black. And as for the transmission, I want it to be something that my wife (standard-impaired) can drive as well. Im not looking to build a 10 sec car I just want something that can get moving when Im driving around town or when another civic rolls on me.
