Good peeps, help pls! My old Civic has a smashing subwoofer in the trunk. During a recent jump start, the lug cable that joins to the positive terminal of the batter broke. Fuse is fine. Any idea what I can do to establish power to the subs? Dont want to take the hassle of running a whole new cable under the carpet. Can I solder patch it?

whats up bud.... yea you can solder it as long as its just the power wire use heat shrink as well not electrical tape do it right the first time

heya thanks for replying! i fixed it a few days ago!! this was my first repair...and i am sure there'll be plenty more opportunity for me to mature

what i did was just buy a new pack of ring connectors from partsource for a few bucks, plied off the broken connector from the cable, crimped a new connector in (using a plus, no need to buy a crimp )...and boomerzzz. I am back to my blasting days
