DIY Painting Trim Pieces

After spraying your coats of white primer and paint coats, should you use a clear coat? Will it add any shine?

i have not used a clear coat...didnt want too much gloss at all

gloss would probably cause some sort of glare at some time or another, so I wouldn't advise trying to make it glossy
