Right temperature plugs for my set up?
So im using stock Si plugs in my second gen JDM B16a. Stock temp is BKR6ES-11. I know the saying goes go one step colder per power adder right? Im running a 70mm tb pro1 cams, PnP and honed intake manifold and head i/h/e. Since the cams are technically a power adder that means using bkr7es-11. Thing is, the compression is higher in my engine than in the stock b16a2..... so its like having a b16a2 with higher cr pistons AND cams. So are those two power adders? Should I go to 8 or is that too cold?

just go one step at a time but do you know if the stock plugs are even running too hot? otherwise going to a colder plug when you dont need it will cause all sorts of issues.

Re: Right temperature plugs for my set up?
the plugs im using now are white with a bunch of **** on it. according to NGK its from too hot a plug and my insides are dirty. prolly seafoam it later. Im guessing the guy who had the engine before me ran crap fuel. When i popped off the plugs i looked at the piston heads and they're pretty clean so is the manifold and TB. But yeah the plugs are reading that they are too hot, i just don't know how cold to go.
