Fuel and Temp Gauges stopped working!
I bought a 5th gen EX gauge cluster to swap into my 92 CX off ebay so i could have a tach. The tach and spedo work fine after the swap, but the fuel and temp gauges do not.
I was told that the entire cluster worked fine when it was removed, so im assuming that something happened during the install. I checked the plugs in the back of the cluster, no problems there. I checked the gauges themselves, also no obvious problems.
I really need some advise here! Any ideas on what could be wrong???

Re: Fuel and Temp Gauges stopped working!
your best bet is to lay both clusters side by side and trace the signal wires to the connector. see what pin cavity your old fuel gauge goes to, then you can find the wire in the corresponding plug on the harness. then find the terminal for the fuel gauge on you new cluster. move that wire to that cavity in the harness plug. As i remember some are in cavity 10 and others in 12.
Do you know what year and engine the new cluster came from?

Re: Fuel and Temp Gauges stopped working!
Ok, i've just gone through the wiring diagrams for every civic model 92-95 and they are all the same. I'm not sure if my diagrams cover canadian. What I did see is that del sol wiring is different. I'm not even sure if a del-sol would fit. Here's something that may help, I have the diagram but don't know how to post it. the temp wire is in connector c510 terminal #4 and is yellow/green.
the fuel gauge wire is in connector c-511 terminal #12 and is yellow/white.
Be sure to check your connections where the harness plugs into the cluster.
Good luck!
