Wanna do full service

Hi guys, im new here and just now im the owner of a low mileage civic (30k miles) 1.6 auto 1999. However, I wanna fully service this car (trans oil, engine oil, filters, coolant, throttle body clean) and maybe the timing belt aswell. Since I'm a little confused can members help and give me links to performing such diy's and oils to use? And can members please suggest what a full and proper maintenance would be?
Thanks in advance

Re: Wanna do full service

You are on track as far as servicing the car out. Yeah, it is low mileage, but when you look at age...all of those items are 10 years old. Changing your motor oil, atf, and coolant is a good idea. You could give the ignition a tune up as well, with plugs, wires, cap and rotor. Also a good idea with the timing belt. Rubber will start to break down with age, so it along with your accessory drive belts would be good for replacement. I am somewhat new to all this also, but some things are good for any vehicle.
As far as ATF, that is the one oil you need to make sure you know what to buy. Get fluid either from Honda, more make sure it is Honda compatible.\

I STRONGLY recommend using the Helms Factory Service Manuals. You can buy a hard copy or download a PDF from here. Hard copies are sometimes available on eBay or directly from Helms.

These are the same manuals that the Honda Techs use at the dealerships. Inside you will find all the recommended sevice intervals and clear illustrated instructions on how to carry them out.
