Can someone identify this part?
The power lock actuator works just fine. I pulled the door apart and found this piece in the bottom of the door. I cannot tell if the end has been cut (gold colored) but the other side is definitely busted off. This (I believe) connects to the rod that engages the lever to lock or unlock the door.

I am trying to locate a diagram from a service manual that would show me what it is and where it fits in the scheme of things. I can probably replace it from salvage.
Thanks!

Re: Can someone identify this part?
1.) Yes
2.) Yes
3.) Yes
4.) No - bought car without them. Cannot lock driver's side with power lock switch. I have to manually lock it. I can lock and unlock the passenger side door with the power lock switch.
The power lock is obviously making the correct sound. Look at the odd piece and see what that might belong to.

Re: Can someone identify this part?
your right, its the part that connects the rod to the inside door handle to open and close it. the open hole connects to the rod on the door and hte inside piece connects to the inside door handle.
Re: Can someone identify this part?
Do you have any idea where I can find a decent diagram on the parts so I can locate one and get it back together? I do not really need an entire actuator assembly; everything functions but this.
