dropping new engine into 97 DX coupe
im looking to drop a b16a2 engine into my 97 civic and im just wondering what i need in order to do it, i have a friend who knows engines whos going to help me drop it but he dosent know if i just need the engine or if i need other parts as well, can you guys help me out?

You are going to need the b16 tranny, axles, motor mounts, ecu and wiring harness for it. I can't remember, but if your b16 is an OBD1 you will need an OBDII to OBDI crossover.

If you have a b series any motor, you will need a b series tranny and ecu for that engine, axles have to mate up to the tranny so I think you would need tose too.
Sorry for the misinformation, I don't think you need deifferent motor mounts for the b series.
