getting frustrated....

long story short i had to switch back to my p2t (00 si) ecu to run my B16a (obdI). The computer i had in there before ran it fine and vtec worked. then the computer fried hence the need to go back to this one. Now my vtec isnt working. i went and had my codes scanned, i got a tps sensor (car drives fine) a ckp sensor and missing cat codes. i did the ckp mod so that should take care of it oil is fine speedo works everything hooked up right harness is froma stock ex so everything plugged. up. what am i missing? do i need to have the codes cleared or will the computer do it itself. i have searched google for three days and nobody has a useful answer. can anyone help me out?

Re: getting frustrated....

Whats the ckp mod (whats ckp??)?

To get the codes erased either pull the ecu fuse, disconnect the batter, or use a odb2 scanner.

Re: getting frustrated....

i meant to say ckf mod

you tie in the ckf sensor wires to the ckp wires at the ecu when using an obd2 ecu and ewh with an obd1 engine that has only the ckp sensor in the dizzy

ok so i got one thing straightened out so far. there are like 9 wires on my dizzy and 8 on my wh. the 9th plug is for the ecu to read engine speed. the 00 civic ex doesn't have that cuz it is all done by the ecu. so that means the ecu is throwing a ckp code because of whatever bullshit that the plug is missing. ive looked everywhere and i came close to finding pinouts for the dizzy and the ecu and at the bottom it says for info on how to add this extra missing wire check back soon. and its dated 2006. WTF do i do?!?!?!?!?!?!? My p28 fried and wont kick on the pump im stuck using this **** *** p2p with no vtec. really getting annoyed. can ANYONE EFFING HELP ME?!

car is a 00 ex factory harness.
dizzy is b16a obd1
ecu is p2p obd2
engine is b16a obd1

WHAT
THE
****
DO
I DO
?!?!?!

Start typing in non-abbreviated English so we can make sense of what your problem is... with your car.

Re: getting frustrated....

...ckp = crank position sensor in the distributor
ckf= crank fluctuation sensor in the oil pump (USDM B16A2 only)

so the problem i have is this. The Crank Shaft Positioning Sensor is in the distributor of the engine B16a (second generation) that is in my car 2000 Civic EX. The harness is on board diagnostics generation 2b meaning it uses the small distributor plug, not the big one the 1999-2000 Si and the 1996-1998 EX/DX/CX?VX etcetra have. The distributor side of the plug has 9 wires. The engine harness has 8. I did some research and found out that the 9th plug is an engine speed sensor that the 96-98 EJs and 99-00 EMs have that the 99-00 EX does not. The engine speed is all processed through the engine computer in the 99-00 EX. My question is this:

Where on the ecu do i need to add a wire so that my distributor plug on the engine harness has 9 wires?
