no it's not the O2

it's the heater in the O2 sensor. two diffrent circuits.

It doesn't matter. It's a 4-wire O2 sensor. The heater circuit consists of 2 of these wires and the heater is inside the sensor so you need to replace the whole sensor.

but how do u know it's automoticly the sensor? it could be in the harness before the sensor. then u just bought a $80 sensor for nothing then a soldering iron could have fixed.

Experience, kid. The heater circuit inside the sensor eventually shorts out from heating up all the time. If you want you can ohm out the sensor to be sure but 99.99999% that's what it is. The chances that the wiring harness has a short is real low unless someone's messing with it.
