This happened a few weeks ago. I noticed the sunroof motor is struggling every time i open or close the sunroof. Just today, i checked it and saw that the driver side is pulling faster than the passenger side when closing/opening and it made a mechanical struggling trying to pull the passenger side in.

OK, any solution for this or I'm screw and need a new sunroof motor?

try and spray the tracks with white lithium grease.

thanks for the reply. i'll buy that and put it on this weekend.

Also, I have a leakage from the front windshield on the driver side. What could cause this? Like droplets of water dropping down onto the seat when it rains for a while.

a bad window seal. you could try and repair it without removing the window, just check around and see where the water is coming from on the outside, then buy some black rubber sealer and squirt some inside the area behind the molding. it will dry and form a waterproof seal.

I emptied half the lithium grease tube on both side of the sunroof. I spent about 30mins pulling and closing the roof so the grease apply evenly and it still pulled uneven and mechanical struggling. So it's the motor right? is there anyway to adjust the motor?

Also bought the black rubber sealer and applied it plentifully. Waiting for a hard rainy day to see the result.

hmm i dont know alot about sunroof but there should be a way to adjust it. the motor usually either works or doesnt work. so maybe something like the slider got loose or out of track. see if you can find anything that doesnt look right. you may need to take the roofliner off tho to see the sides.
