Hey, Questions for Pros...

Hey, First time forumer. I used the search function and can't find the info I need, so here are a few things i'm gonna ask. If you have KNOWLEDGE about the subject, please reply, because i'm a student and i saved a shitload long time to get enough cash for this. So three questions, and go!

First off: I have a green 93 civic LX sedan. Stock everything save the sound system and a greddy short ram. My ultimate goal is a d15b vtec swap. Here is my first problem. Can I use the stock transmission of my LX and just bolt on the longblock? honda online motors is selling the long block for $550 w/o shipping, so instead of buying the 250$ addon package for a complete transmission, can I use my current one? 'Cause I want to buy the clutch and flywheel first and get a feel for it, then get the 'power' so to speak.

Second: After I get the transmission answer, I was wondering about the ECU and mounts. The same site offers the ecu and mounts for an additional charge. I'm guessing the ecu needs to be changed cause the vtec isn't programed into a ecu for an engine...without vtec lol. And mounts? This is my first "project" move since I got my civic, and I really want to make sure I do it right and tight.

Third: Best way to lower the car and get the whole "car is NOT gonna tip over when taking a 90degree turn at 95kpm?" I was looking at skunk2 suspension, but I dunno what the difference is between just the springs to lower it, and a whole suspension set up. Obviously price, but anything else I should know about? Also, I only want it lowered about 1'5" or 2" maximum.

Please comment appropriately.
All help is more than welcome.
Seriously, thank you for your time, you are doing me a great help.

If you can post a link to the correct thread, that would be greatly appreciated!
