wow thats too much man. find a different shop cause thats crazy. you could at least get it done for 2500 or cheaper if you know someone.

i just had my tranny replaced... got a remaned tranny for 750 from a place online called
www.synchrotech-transmissions.com really good tranny. works great. then all you have to do is get someone to swap it out, i replaced the clutch and flywheel total price for me was 1300 new tranny clutch, flywheel, installed.

I just had my auto tranny go dead on me today, had 176,000 kms on it 
. got a quote for 1250 Canadian for a used tranny with labor, is that a good deal guys?

Sweet, glad to hear it. Baby that tranny(ha) and hopefully youll get another bunch of crap load of kms out of that car
