Im not sure if adding coilovers will void your suspension, but if you think the car is low enough and it is a lot lower than a 7th gen, just be happy with it, since it is so new.
Seems like a waste to just throw out a brand new suspension. You can get some rims
though, maybe some window visors? a sound system? a lip kit if they are available yet?

a sound system sounds nice. i'm looking for a body kit that will fit the 09 SI, i'm looking at the bodykits for the 08 but i'm not sure if that will fit. i'll probably lower it an inch but with all the speeds bumps here where i live at i'm thinking of posponing it for a little bit. thanks for the suggestions.

get a lip kit, please
and not a body kit.
Lip kits are just add on to the stock bumper including side skirts, body kits are usually more aggressive and will replace your stock bumpers.

and an inch isnt going to make that much of a difference, just keep stock suspension until they blow. the 8th gens look low enough while driving.

yes, if i can install my own lip kit, you can too... and OEM lip kit from the factory are even easier since they supply all the hardware and ur less likely to scratch ur bumpers since they come with a soft plastic around the edges.
Ya, keep your suspension for now, but down the line you could always change it when it gets worn and less comfortable. But now I bet, its a pretty comfy ride?
