I have a 92 lx with a d15b7 and automatic transmission and I hit a curb and cracked my tranny, I bought a used one from a friend that I have been working with for a couple of years But it came out of a 94 ex with a d15z6, he did a manual swap, anyways I installed the transmission but I put my solenoids on it and now it drives to 7000 rpm and then decides to shift unless i let the gas go while over 3000 rpm, could it be that since it came off a vtec that I need the p28 instead of my p06 ecu, or is it the solenoid.
I'm only 16 and I make minimum wage so please do tell me to swap it to a manual or different engine, I just need a affordable solution.
