I now have my steering wheel off, thank you ppl for helping, you know who you are [IMG]i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif[/IMG] . What is the best way to put it back on? I mean is there anything special I should know to make putting my steering wheel back on easier? or do I just tighen the big bolt in the middle down hard and get someone to hold the wheel for me?

Set your wheels straight. Now align the wheel with the splines on the shaft. Gently tighten the nut, snug, not tight. Back the car up a little bit, is the wheel straight, now go forward. If it is straight, then just tighten the nut and things are great. I would not really tighten it up because you may be one spline and the steering wheel would be off.
