Hello all,

I'm a new Civic owner, just brought it home tonight. It's a 1994 EX. It's in great shape, but I just discovered upon getting it home that the drivers side door wont lock! Attempting to do it via the power door locks wont do anything, nor pushing it (it refuses to go down) or trying to turn it with the key will work.

Needless to say, it would be nice to be able to lock the car. I was just wondering if this is a common occurrence and (hopefully) easily fixed.

Anyway yeah, quick description: Drivers side door wont lock at all. The lock refuses to be pushed in and offers much resistance as though there were a spring behind it and it will pop back up what little it can be pushed down.

Figured out a temporary fix to lock the door, but I have one more question. What are the sizes of the stock speakers in the Civic Sedan? I'd like to get an aftermarket deck and upgrade the speakers while I'm at it, but I can't figure out what I'd need. I'm not looking for a sub or an amp or anything, just a cheap, simple upgrade. I have a feeling if I go to Best Buy, they're going to try to sell me on some specialty stuff and tell me the whole car needs to be rewired...
