foglight switch is receiving power but fogs dont turn on..

foglight switch is receiving power but fogs dont turn on..

as title says...

i also had to splice some hook up wire to everything because the harness came up short. im not sure if thats the problem.

thats really little info for us to work with. why do u explain what and how you did ur wirng harness and how u hooked it up. if you post up some pixs we could probably help you a lil more

Those two plugs you were wondering about connects to the fuse compartment. Here's what he sent me...
1st Step: Locate the fuse compartment under the steering wheel


2md step: insert the two plugs to the inlet (you can see in the picture where the red wire goes and where the white wire goes. and BTW, the plugs are already insrted.) and ground the harness


3rd step: put the cover back up and viola! your done

This is exactly what he sent me. Try it out and see if it works.
my guess is probably how i extended my wires. i bought some hook up wires and wire crimps from radio shack and extended all the connectors. the hook up wires look like they barely do much.

im about to just call it quits and splice em to my parking lights.

recheck the whole wiring and make sure everything fits perfect. then make a go for it again. gl bro

are u sure the new wiring u added is the right size?

probably not, but if it isnt, i don't think the switch would be getting power.
