2002 Sedan Rear Speaker Install

Ok... I know this topic has been covered before but for the Coupe. I like 4 doors so I have a sedan. I wish to know whether someone has a DIY on the removal of the rear deck so that I may swap my stock speakers for some Alpines. Also... am I right in saying the rear speakers are 5 1/4"? Or are they 6 1/2"? Please lemme know.

no they are not.

in a sedan, the rear speakers are 6.5" you can see then from inside the trunk.
don't make the same mistake I did by buying 6x9's cause you'll jsut have to return them (or cut your rear dash)

good luck!

i got a dx sedan so i don't know if the speaker size is different, but when i put mine in the 6 1/2 didn't fit too well , they were pioneer, so i ended up getting the 6 3/4 and they fit good...
