Honda Civic 2004 Reminder Bell Does Not Go Off
My reminder bell (ding-ding-ding) that goes off right after I turn off the ignition and
(a) The lights are still on, or
(b) Key happens to still be in the ignition does not sound off anymore. Just happened today. It was fine yesterday.
Is this bell issue expensive to fix, please?
Thank you.

Is your dome light working when the drivers door is opened ??
If no... check the drivers side rubber covered plunger switch.

Come to think of it, I think the dome light is OFF too. I only note it now that you mentioned it. When I pulled in my garage, I pulled out my key and no light overhead.
I do not know if this is something I can do myself? Where is the switch located please?
I am very concerned that this will cost me a bundle.
Thank you.

Re: Honda Civic 2004 Reminder Bell Does Not Go Off
The switch is located in the drivers side center pillar area, It is covered by a black rubber cover and the screw for removal is under a cover that lifts up. It has a plunger operated by the door closing.
If you remove the switch... the single wire is easy to disconnect (don't let the wire get back into hole)
If the switch is broken you can swap it with the passenger side switch until you can get a replacement
