Thermal R&D Catback Exhaust Problem
Hey everyone, I've had a Thermal R&D Catback Exahust on my 01 Civic for a while and I've recently discovered that it is the source of a crazy rattle/knock under my car at some speeds/rough roads. I lifted the car and saw where the exhaust pipe (right around under the shift stick) hits the chasis and makes a loud noise inside the car. I think the only way to solve this is to put something (that can pad/dampen the hit) hat can withstand the heat, between the pipe and the chasis.
Any ideas out there on what I can do/use?
Thanks!

yeah they sell thermal wraps you can put around the exhaust pipe. i think DEI makes it and its called header wrap. or have a muffler shop adjust where the pipe sits. its bigger piping than stock so almost every aftermarket exhaust has this same problem of hitting the car body.

Thanks! Just bought them... that's exactly what I needed. Know of any good places to buy anti-rattle padding (for sound systems-caused rattles)?
