Potential Part Out - Andy's 500 whp turbo setup, motor & trans
Ok guys, I've about reached the ceiling with my setup and am looking for more oomph now. Contemplating doing a k swap with boost later but for now I wanted to see if I could get enough bites to make this worthwhile.
Here's what I'm considering.
Engine Block: 1,500
Paid: Over 2k between parts and machining costs (not including cost of block)
Fully balanced and blueprinted d17a2 block, containing wiseco 8.8:1 pistons and crower forged rods. Engine has less than 1k since rebuild and is 100% pristine. All parts, bearings, oil pump, water pump, etc are brand new.

Head: 850
Paid: Over 1k between parts and machining costs (not including cost of head)
d17a2 cylinder head with crower stage 3 camshaft, crower valve springs and titanium retainers. Same deal with head as block, head has under 5k and was completely rebuilt with new guides and seals.

Tranny: 1,000
Paid: Over 1,200 in parts alone
d17a1 transmission with Quaife torque bisasing differential, transmission is perfect, smooth as butter. Had 30k when I picked it up, I have put less than 10k with more highway miles than anything.

Turbo, Downpipe: 1,200
Paid: Over 2,100 in parts and fabrication labor
I also have my full turbo system. Garrett GT3076r turbocharger with less than 15k on the turbo. The turbo has no shaft play and does not leak or smoke whatsoever. There is a V-Band 3" discharge on the turbine housing and a polished and anti-surge compressor housing. Along with the turbo is a full 3" V-Band downpipe that fits perfectly in an em2. A 4" polished aluminum intake pipe will also be included with an AEM Dry Flow Air filter for the turbo.

Exhaust Manifold, Wastegate & Dumptube: 1,000
Paid: Over 1,500 for parts (custom turbo options), Jet-Hot Coating
Dezod race turbo manifold with jet-hot coating (this was a prototype and is one of a kind.) Also a fresh Tial 35mm wastegate with an authentic Tial replacement diaphragm and 8.5 psi spring (around 5k on wastegate since rebuild). For the wastegate is included a 35mm flanged and jet-hot coated dumptube that fits perfectly with the setup.
The downpip is diff than in this pic...

Intake Manifold: 850
Retail new: Over 900 + wait on fabrication time
JDM Fabtech one of a kind intake manifold & high flow fuel rail with a sidemount throttle body and perfectly fitted for the intercooler pipes with the system.

Intercooler: 350
Paid: 650 new (custom made to my specs for an em2/d17)
PWR vertical flow intercooler, capable of 600+whp, and also have all intercooler piping including a Greddy type S authentic blow off valve, that I will throw in with this.

These DO NOT INCLUDE SHIPPING OR PAYPAL FEES!!
For now, I'm trying to get altogether 6k for everything combined. I have over 10k in parts listed here and will spell it all out when I can. Thanks for looking and click here for pics and more specifics about the setup:
