please check my tire numbers fast !

ok i am setting up a deal for rims and tires.....the guy has 215/40/17 rim width fits but the guy says that the tire width woudnt and would rub on lowered civics....i have Neuspeed Sports which come out to around 2 inch drop....please confirm if the numbers WILL or WILL NOT fit.....please make sure your right because its a big deal going thanks for all your help

YES they will fit.....215/45/17 will also fit and is closer to stock diameter

have that exact setup, doesn't ever rub. However, you need to make sure that the offset of the rims is either +40 or +42 or they may have a chance of rubbing...

yups... basicly the offset will tell you will they rub or not... i've done months and months of researching for what size 18" wheels will fit best for our cars. The Honda Dealer has a 2002 civic on 18"x7.5" rims wrapped with 215/40/18 on +42MM offset. they said it doesnt rub at all! so for 17"s.... you cant go wrong with +42MM
