does anyone know which wire is the signal wire for the o2 sensor???im trying to connect an air/fuel ratio meter

Trying hooking it up to the the black wire with white stripe on it. I think that is the onre I hooked mine up to. Somebody told me that it was one of the white ones, but they did not work. Where are you mounting your gauge at?

ok.im pretty dumb....now, i just came back from my car and looked for the black wire w/the white stripe on it.i didnt see anything.is this wire on the o2 sensor or is it on the ecu?and if its the ecu,where is the ecu located

Try the black one, i got confused w/ something else. It will be at the o2 sensor

ok!!!got it.its donebut now theres another problem...my check engine light is on.i reset the ecu over 10 times and it still comes back on. i probably damaged the o2 sensor by fu*cing around w/this.oh well.ill take it to honda and get a new one or something,unless there are other solutions..

You got me on that one! I got a number of a Honda Junk yard in Charlotte NC who has 2001 Civic parts (800) 932-8690. I had to buy an Alternator from him (long story), and they had 6 2k1 alternators. I got it for $80 and Honda was going to charge me $400. Call them they may have that sensor for cheap! The place is called Beavers.
