Lifetime alignment- I need help
I've been looking for a place that does lifetime alignments for lowered vehicles. I called up Firestone today and they do it for 169.99 but will not work with lowered cars...
I need a spot.. and I finally got my SPC camber kits and I need air tools... sucks.

Re: Lifetime alignment- I need help
forget about Just Tires then
forget about all the mainstream shops.
I'm looking for a spot too. The place that I go to, charges 65 bucks, but the guy actually takes your car to another place. I have been content with his work. He even brings wood so my car can go up the ramp easier. But I do not feel comfortable with him driving my car to who knows where. And he was the one that installed my rear camber arms as well. His shop is located in Garden Grove.
And it's two young guys - though their prices arent always best, but they have been pretty reliable.
Autobacs also does alignment, but many people do not trust them. When I first put on my s techs i got the alignment there and i was very happy about it. They even told me not to get a camber kit. But now, my car has a lip kit - dont know if they'll work with that.
I'm looking to get an alignment pretty soon because I want to readjust my coilovers.. even though i just did it last month...

These guys were talking about the lifetime alignment and I'm assuming they have lowered their cars too. I don't get it.

Re: Lifetime alignment- I need help
it could just depend on the individual shop. But it's safe to say that most shops will not want to deal with lip kits and lowered cars - especially if you request certain camber.
40 bucks sounds cheap - go for it - especially if they have a print out - because thats pretty much the only way to tell if they actually aligned your car or not. and from that u can tell if they did a good job or not

Hmm.. did they work on the car when it was lowered? I called up Firestone in Downey and the guy said he wouldn't work on lowered cars. Then, I got home and started calling other places and I guess I was too late. They were probably closed. I'll try again tomorrow.

Re: Lifetime alignment- I need help
Very few places will give lifetime alignments for lowered cars because it isn't cost beneficial for them. You have to pay to play. Just get it done at a reputiable suspension shop.

Re: Lifetime alignment- I need help
I work at a tire shop and i am in training to do alignments well i lowered my 00 civic si put front and rear camber kits and it worked out fine for me all I did was use the stock specs get the camber as close as possible and set the toe and let it go..... Been almost 10,000 miles if not more and i have no wear at all..
Re: Lifetime alignment- I need help
Thats odd that Firestone wont work on your car my Honda is lowered and inch and a half with just springs and I just bought the lifetime allignment. I had my camber plates put on and they still alligned it Not sure where you are but It might differ from state to state I suppose I just thought that was odd

Re: Lifetime alignment- I need help
94 isn't that great of a deal as most shops around here will do it for half that these days as the economy kinda sucks. also an alignment is labor so if they are saying tax included that is just extra money for the shop so face palm to spam
