Wink R134A specifically for CIVIC EX 1995

During the warranty period of that vehicle I had major air conditioner problems. There was some kind of work done with the Evaporator and some other stuff under the dash that I cannot remember the name. All I can say it never cooled properly and that might be because of the early transition from R12 to R134A who knows.

Anyhow Honda Service never really fixed it properly and never cooled properly.

It does not cool at all now. I want to just do a quick charge to it and I was going to buy the R134A by dupont. Its a brand that is suppose to be 30-50% more cooling with sealant and lubricant. Its in a blue can and it is called ARTIC FREEZE.

It has 3 oz of lubricant and 16oz of refrigerant. Does that ratio sound ok for honda civic air conditioners?

I also own a 2001 and a new 2008. Those air conditioners are fine but I am curious as to what kinda R134A they need as well?

If the 1995 is completely evacuated, vacuumed and dried. The can you still use the the R134A with oil in it or should I get the R134A without the oil and add the oil separately?

In either case does anyone know the ratio of R134A to lubricant (PAG) in the Honda Civic EX 1995, 2001 and 2008?

I know I am waiting for someone to say have a Professional fix it. Please do not bother posting anything if that is what you are going to recommend.

I had the best professionals, Honda, already try to fix it, and they blotched the job.

I have learned enough about how to evacuate and dry the system as well as charge it. I don't know where some of the tech people from here believe a vacuum pump costs $15,000? You can pick them up for around $200 and they do the job well and will do many of them.

I am only asking what kinda of R134A and what Ratio of lubricant to refrigerant should be used.

Maybe a link to a service manual for that year vehicle. Thats probably my best bet?

Thanks
