01-03 tie rods different than 04-05???plz help

I just got back from havin my coilovers reinstalled(I switched to stock for winter) on my 04 ex coupe anyways last summer when I installed the suspension, I had ripped my tie rod boots with the pickle fork, so I figured Id have them replaced since the shocks were coming out. I had purchased moog tie rod ends for an 01-05 civic and they dont sit tight in the spindle its almost like its too tapered and sinks down to far. So the mechanic ordered some in and theyre having the same problems, with the second set yet my stock tie rods fit the suspension(ksport) perfect and tight. So I called honda and now theyre tellin me theres only one part number as well, I dont understand this I thought I read somewhere that 01-03 were different than 04-05, which is this exact problem. What about rsx tie rod ends are those what I need? If anyone could please help I'd appreciate it, I want to have these replace the boots are severely cracked for 8 months now. Thanks again

All the tie rods are the same. It is weird that the moog one's didn't work. I installed some on Andyman's car and they seem good. BTW you cannot use the RSX ones. They are larger.

BTW **** the dealer, just get them from www.hondaautomotiveparts.com
