04 d17a2 overheating some help here
i got an 04 ex coupe d17a2 engine this thing is been a pain in the *** since 40k when my first head gasket went then around 90k it went again now i got 126k and the dam things is overheating again i changed the thermostate i blead the sysem all air bubbles out i flushed the block out put new fluid in it and it was fine for about a day or 2 then it started overheating so now i know its something elce the water pump has not been changed or the timing belt lol fukin lazy so im driving and the heat works good and the a/c works good then the gauge moves around up and back down to normal temp then the heat goes out to like 70 instead of 90 and then it comes back i do get some coolant suirting out of the over flow tank theres no sweet smell from the exhaust but it does have a lil white smoke come out the exhaust at start up so im not sure if im dealing with another head gasket or a water pump anybody got some other diag tips because im about to blow this car up and if its another head gasket what the hell is making this thing keep blowin its a stock motor nothing done to th car everything on the car is oem both times the head was sent out to be decked so the heads not warped

first off.... WRITE IN SENTENCES. Use PERIODS so people can read what you wrote.
you probably blew another one because the head is probably warped.
Pull the head, send it to the machine shop with the block, have them surfaced then put it back together

I have the same problem with the overflow tank over filling. I have changed the thermostat but I'm still losing coolant. Right now I'm tempted to bring it in to a shop to get it checked out but if anyone has any suggestions please let us know.

im thinking the water pump is no good not flowing right i mean my cars got 126k its served its purpose i think its time from a new one my friends got an 05 and hes had the same problems too these d series suck 01-05 96-00 i think where the best civics ever
