i saw some older civic with those tail light led bulbs. he had cleared tails too.. and wen the bulb is on the leds light up in a circle fashion making it look like it rotates. then when u turn it blinks all the leds together.. looked kinda ricey in my opinion..
three words...
APC Pepboys
I took out my turn bulb and noticed it isn't a 7440 bulb.... it was a 3156
Pepboys and their new "rice" section, has what you want.
They have a 3157 Red LED replacement bulb. the package has "For chevys only" marked on it, but it fits and works just fine.
Difference between a 3156 and 3157:
3156 - Single filiment
3157 - double filiment = low intensity/high intensity
But since the plug on our civic only has two contacts, it will use the high intensity by default.
[Disclaimer]
LED replacement bulbs lower the resistance on your blinker system, therefore increasing the blink rate.
