Short Ram=inside engine bay=warm air
Cold Air Ram........Injen CAI.......outside enigne bay....colder air ( more power when cold air gets in )
AEM CAI......beneath the engine bay......warm/cold air (i dont know this one! )

For me..i recomend Injen Race Division CAI for our car!! but thats MY opinion!!

Everybody got there OWN favorite brand..mine is Injen though.. but ppl would recommend AEM..

Injen's Racing Division cold air intake is more of a "true" cai because the filter is out of the engine bay exposing the filter to colder air while AEM's cai on the other hand has the filter still kind of in the engine bay so it sucks warm/cold air

just in case, here's a link with pretty pictures

Like everyone said, CAI gets cooler air to the engine, which in the long run creates a little more power, not much though from the SRI. SRI sucks in warmer air since it is in the engine bay. I have an injen SRI and it fits and works great. Go for the CAI though. I would recommend the injen CAI, I hear that it fits alot better than the AEM CAI, which kind of hits the hood when you shut it!
