What fuel filters to use??

First off Hello to everyone on this site, I am a newbie here and also to the import world. I own a 1991 civic dx with a Si motor and tranny swap, my problem is that yesterday when i went to change my fuel filter I accidentally broke one of my fuel lines, so i had to run to advanced and pick up an inline plastic filter for carb applications. It seems to be running fine but my concern is, Will this plastic filter be to weak for fuel injected system, and possibly cause fire?? Should i replace it with an aftermarket aluminum filter instead?? which filters do yall recommend?? All help would be appreciated!!

i would try and replace it with a stock piece. but the inline one should be fine for a while.

Re: What fuel filters to use??

well i have a stock one here but i will have to buy 2 fuel lines with the bajo bolt ends, because i broke the one and then just cut both ends off. So now i only have raw hose ends. my major concern with the plastic filter is, it expoding due to the increased pressure of a fuel injected system. If it will work for know then I will use it for awhile until i can find a good replacement filter that is metal or aluminum.
