First time Civic owner :)

Hello everybody, i just bought 98 Civic Si ( US-Ex ) and I'm really happy with the car so far. I was wondering if you guys make any meetings in the Mississauga area often? I would love to meet some other civic owners

Re: First time Civic owner :)

I just came from the Tim Hortons on Dundas and 403, there were at least 30 civics there and i know they go there every Friday,Saturday and even Sunday ? Anyone of you guys been there ?
MajirTom:
6th gen civics
American Ex version is called Si in Canada, and American Si is called SiR in Canada.
American Si uses B16A2 ( DOHC V-tec )
Canadian Si uses D16Y8 ( SOHC V-tec )
i hope I'm right

P.S. Sorry about the bad English, still new in Canada

So, if you checked the vin number and it was a EX, you do have an Ex ( Si here in Canada) However it might be with a swapped engine , 6th gen SIR is hard to find and it is also alot more expensive than Si . Both, Si (D16Y8) and Sir(B16A2) have VTEC...
