Why Do I Scrape Alot In The Rear?
I dont know why but when I drive alot and theres like a little hill or a driveway I seen to bottom out but only in the rear so I decided to look under my car and I figure out where my car was touching at so I took a pic.... My question is why when I put 2 people in the back seat my car get so low I can have anyone in the backseat cause of my car rubbing... I circle the spot in red when my car scrapes maybe you guys can help me out I have H&R's sprins with Koni Yellows.

How long have you had the Koni's on there? Sounds to me like they are blown, or you need to step up to some stiffer springs. How low does she hunker over the back tires?
Either that or you just need to get some thinner friends.

Re: Why Do I Scrape Alot In The Rear?
Because you are on neuspeed race PROGRESSIVE springs. When you put weight in the rear, the springs are going to compress more. Progressive springs do that more than linear springs. Your car is low to begin with, so putting weight in the rear is going to make you scrape.
Two relatively cheap fixes
1) Get a new set of springs with a lower drop
2) Get a set of GCs for konis.

Re: Why Do I Scrape Alot In The Rear?
I had my si's on with 195 55 15 and the rear use to cover the tire you can only see the rims... But like 3weeks ago they try to steal my si's so I put on 91 integra steelies so know it bottoms out alot, thats one of the reason I dont drive my car.. The front is still on neuspeed race springs but with tokicos but I never hit in the front.... I was thinking of buying some teins super sport and getting new tokico shocks but I wanna be sure that this will be good for my car or not I just gonna get the oem springs on ***** a hastle.

If on a budget
Eibach Sportlines
Tokico blues
F/R camber kit
If you want adjustability
GCs
Konis

Re: Why Do I Scrape Alot In The Rear?
Yes, the knocking will still be there it has nothing to do with the springs. My problem came bc I had a blown OEM strut and the oil leaked into the top mount and it caused the bearings to move around. When we opened it up there were bearings on top of bearings which is not good.

This is what you need. This is what goes on top of your shocks and springs. The bolts that stick up are what your strut bars mount to. Hope this helps.

He needs springs with not so low of a drop.
Irock, what are your suspension mods? It says that you have tokico blues, but the picture shows konis.

Rob I was responding to his comment on the clicking noise when he's turning in regards to his front shocks not the rears. I thought it was a given his drop is too low in the back.

Re: Why Do I Scrape Alot In The Rear?
You have koni rears correct. Are they on the top or bottom perch. If they are on the bottom and you move them to the top perch you may raise the back a bit.
Re: Why Do I Scrape Alot In The Rear?
Buy a set of Tien coil overs... I've seen a set of basics go for like 900.00 they come with springs and adjustable spring perch so you can lower or raise to your liking. Are you sure the knocking isn't from the axles going out? Try turning the wheel while not moving and the same while the car is moving. Let us know when it knocks moving or not moving the car that is....
