mini-me headswap info needed
ok, as the title states, im going to be doing a headswap soon, and i dont want to run vafc-2, i want to run an ex ecu instead, and am wondering, does anyone know how to wire the vtec solenoid into the ex ecu... ive read the lx to ex headswap diy which recommends using the vafc-2, but i simply dont like the vafc-2 for this application, does anyone have this information???
i rep for good info, especially for diagrams and pics

Uprade the engine harness as well. THat way you dont have to fvck with connectors and you'll be running it safer then having the EX ecu not have all the signals that your LX engine harness is giving it. There is more then just the solenoid signal.

Yep if you have the EX head and the EX ECU then get the engine harness and complete the swap. You should be good to go after. (I think.)
-----EDIT----
I forgot after the above three things, you will need to tow your ride to the nearest honda dealer. They will need to "Reflash" the ECU. Then you are good to go.

Re: mini-me headswap info needed
i made a seperate harness for my car. I bought an EX harness on ebay, but the seller failed to mention it was for an AUTO. I cut off the connectors i needed, removed some 2 pins from the ECU plug and ran the wires through the firewall. Insert the pins into their proper slots in the ECU plugs, run the wires to the solenoid and pressure switch, ground the pressure switch then loom everything and zip tie it neatly. the whole thing might have taken me 20 minutes and it was a hell of a lot easier than trying to pull out and reinstall the entire engine harness. and if anyone is interested, i could probably make a plug and play harness for you. i have enough pins left to make a few.

^^^^^ Yikes! Dude! I know you may love her and all, but unless she's getting out, don't ever marry another service member! Just my .02, but I hope she's a good one. You've been in long enough to know how your standard dual military marriage ends up. /jack /e-daddy

Ok so i get the k-pro and i believe that they already give a base map for stock cars (according to the website), do the head swap to the ex and use the harness that u (skip) hook me up with?? did i get that right?? let me know. man just looking at that, that's an expensive head swap but it prepping me for boost! Thanks again guys!
