Help!

I need some help. i want to put a B16 cylinder head on my stock sohc block. i want to know if it is possible or if i'm in the dark on the block specs. my ride is a 1998 civic ex 1.6L

Id think not....reason for that being the size and stud configuration for a D and B series heads would vary

I have a 1998 civic Ex 1.6L. I want to put a B16 Dohc cylinder head on it. Iwanted to know if it was possible.

hmmmmm let me see d16y8 correct and you said b16 heads ? absolutely no way bro SOHC & DOHC don't go along not at all .i don't think so . nice try thou .who told you you could do this ? or you just happen to think about it .

Can it be done? No.

Thats like putting a K series head on a D17. Its just not possible.

Besides that point, for the going rate of B16's these days, you can probably pick one up for DIRT cheap, and just swap out the whole motor. Thats your best bet.
