Question For All Nj Pple
Has Anyone From New Jersey Got A Letter From State Of New Jersey Inspection To Have Their Car Inspected Even Though Your Car Inspection Is Not Due Till Next Year Or So ? I Got This Letter Stating I Have To Re-inspect My Car By Dec. Of 2007 Which My Sticker Says Its Not Due Till March Of '08 ......this Is Weird ? .... If Any Of You Got A Letter From The Inspection Place ..let Me Know What Is Going On ..thanks
1st: i never got a ticket with this car in 3 yrs ...so i don't know what the heck is goin on..lol
this is what part of the letter says:
THIS IS WHAT IT SAYS:
whenever a vehicle has been in an accident of the oprator has received a summons or wanring citation for having a faulty automotive equipment, the owner is required to have a vehicle reinspected. the reinpection is records of this division indicate that you have: other-quality assurance...the reinspection is required pursuant to title 39:2-3, 39:3-5, 39:3-43, 39:3-5R.S, abd 39:8-2RS.

Does Jersey have mobile emissions surveys?
That sounds like whats going on.... You drove by one w/o a cat, and now you gotta go get it reinspected because your readings are too high. In otherwords, before you go in, make sure your emissions hardware is all functioning properly.

My girl just got 2 of those letters also. They say the exact same thing. She hasn't gotten a ticket or anything, those letters came yesterday. She has 1987 Chevy Cavalier that she uses for the winter. She is going to call tomorrow to find out what is going on, and when I find out anything, I will let you know man. Same with you, if you find out about your situation, let me know.

thank god someone in here got the same situation ....this **** is bullshit ... i just pm'd you bro w/ my number ...cuz i barely come in here ....yeah i already spoke to two police officers that im close with and they said this is the first they heard of this since no police officers gave me any kind of summons....im still waiting on my appoitment w/ my friend's fathers thats a judge ...he should know what the heck is goin on ....
