I have a 2001 Civic EX auto tranny wondering if a 2003-2004 Civic EX AUTO tranny will fit. I have called a salvage yard from Massachusetts. I am from Texas the sales guy there says 2003-2004 Civic Ex Auto will not fit into an 2001 civic ex auto. Is that true? Ive done some research on this forum some people said it does but dont have any proofs it does. Can ya'll clarify if it works? Those guys up there in Massachusetts has one at a great price.

im pretty damn sure it will fit... no difference in the motor or chassis between those years.. i think the only difference is minor exterior and interior changes and the suspensions setup..

Will not fit, or will not work? Could be a differenct computer program.

Just call a dealer and ask.
