well i am looking into upgrading my intake mani here soon.. and i was wondering which would be cheaper and what is the best one to have.. performance minded.. and whatever else.. i want to prep before i turbo..i read the Y8 DIY, and i didnt get an enswer, and i searched.. thanks for help..

Cheaper = Y8

Better = custom

Gerry makes some very nice ones (jdmfabtech.com - 02fpcivic) and dezod has one in development right now. I'd buy one of Gerry's but don't have the cash do drop on one right now. Hence why I'm going with a Y8 until I deploy again and can afford more expensive parts!

well i had a shop in ATL quote me right at $500 for the Y8 installed... and i will boost, and i want more flow.. i love Hector's(Supermex), and if i boost should i go for that right away... or just go for the mid-range till i need all that flow.. i mean i saw some ITBs at NOPI.. and like $800 for them...

The Y8 actually isnt too bad for the money. If you can do it yourself you will save a ton. You will have to get creative with your fuel system in one way or another.

i know the work seems a lil too much for me.. but idk.. i love to mod on my own to learn and all.. but ill see what i can doo... i just want the best gains for a boost prolly, and Dezod is to be producing one soon i hear
