for those of you experienced in mods, what options are there to make a current 06 si (0-60 ~6.7 seconds) fast enought where it is doing 0-60 ~5.0-5.4 seconds?

0-60 is all you want? thats easy.. get some spray and get some gears. slap on some 4.77 or higher gears and then spray away.

add a k24 bottom too. then put your motor in a hatch. now you're beating Z's.

Turbo?? i hate the lag which you get with it (had an eclipse gsx, loved and hated it), as far as spraying goes im not trying make a habit out of rebuilding the motor

i think superchargers sound really nice on the new civics. i can't say that you will be beating z's with one, but your car would definitely be faster and sound a lot meaner.

No.. 255 HP, you are thinking of the old 3.0i. The new Z4 have the S54 engine. The 3.0i has 215, I have 255 and the M has 330.

I would love to race one of them. They might have a chance straight line (after spending as much on a civic as I have on my car stock) but they would be gonners as soon as we hit a track.

Problem #1, you got a DSM one of the most unreliable cars EVER. Whats the deal with this Z...why is it so important to be faster than specifically a Z...is this a 350z, a 300zx, 300zxtt?? you racing for slips or somethin?
Ive seen one get totalled already, dude was leaving a meet got onto a road, drift, catch it, spin other way, into curb, roll, into pole. I have euro car drivers lol
