Re: can someone black out my headlights for me?

Can you do something like that? Can we do it at your place?
Can you replace the yellow ambers with the red ambers?
I'll give ya like 50-100 bucks based on your experience and skill.

Re: can someone black out my headlights for me?
thanks but I really can't do it myself....
Need someone whos done it before.
so I guess I'll go with removal of the amber then instead of replacing them.
just like that car then

Re: can someone black out my headlights for me?
no....
Can you fit me in during the weekend and hopefully finish it by sunday night or something? Any weekend should be fine, I can come over, u can remove them for me, and then i can drive home without lights I think??
and when you say retro do you mean HID bulbs? How much would something like that cost?
and one of my lights is fogged up from water or whatever, do I need to buy new headlights or can you just remove the outer casing and wipe it off or something?
My biggest goal is to get the paint on my black car to match the paint of the lights.

Re: can someone black out my headlights for me?
^hahaha
when i say retro, it means that i can do all sorts of headlights mods...and one of teh hardest headlight mods are a RETROFIT...which i can do...pretty much means my skill level with headlights are not a rookie =] (in smiple terms)
and a retro would cost somewhere between 300-1000 depending on what you what and if u are willing to supply the parts...(but i tell u what, its DAMN worth it.
as for it being foged, id have to see it. is it like...yellow stained fogged? or just water?
as for your biggest goal, if u want matching paint, its gonna be costly, because a 12oz can can be $20+ [plus shipping and time for it to ship.]
then id have to sand/primer/clear it. but its totally do-able.
as for your no leadlights, i have a spare (i always do for my customers) oem headlights you can use while i work on ur headlights. so u can drive off any not get a ticket...(which will be 100+ if u do get a ticket)
im sure i can squeeze you in, but it'll probably take a 1 week to shipp ur car's color spray can (if u do decide to go that route) and another week for me to work on it. i dont do half *** jobs.
take off your bumper
heat gun it up
open
clean silicone
tape off stuff i dont want painted.
wet sand
clean.
primer
wet sand
primer
wet sand.
car's paint. (optional: car's color $20)
clear coat. (optional, but highly suggested $8)
add silica gel packs (so it wont fog)
seal off with silicone II
wait a day to fully dry.
put it bak on ur car and adjust your beams.
done =]
its roughly gonna be 100.
and if you decide to do it, let me konw. after i finish my current retro project for a friend's bike, and my carputer (almost done) ill let you know.
it'll be a good time to let me know so i can start order ur car's paint (if u go that route)

Re: can someone black out my headlights for me?
Okay lets do it! let me know the your schedule
I'll PM you my phone number.
Retro fits might be out of my price range right now but can you replace the factory bulbs with just HID? And I'll pay for that too + your asking labor price of 100 bucks.
the top image is right after i washed the car a few months ago. the one on the bottom is a few weeks ago. its obviously not yellow but not as clear as my other one

Re: can someone black out my headlights for me?
send me some pictures... can you remove the amber?
and does the black match my black hawk pearl honda color? I've seen some blacked out lights that are a lighter black and they look ugly...
my OEM lights... one side is a little bit foggy

Re: can someone black out my headlights for me?
ya no prob. do you know anything about suspension? My car is making squeeking noises and its all lop sided for some reason. I rather get an opinion from a friend than from someone who wants to make money off of me...
but no prob, let me know, u should know my number or just PM me.
thanks again
