Questions on air/fuel gauge

Questions on air/fuel gauge I have an air/fuel gauge in my '95 ex. I followed the instructions on how to hook it up and it didn't work right. so we tried a diff method which was putting it directly in the o2 sensor but it wouldn't work there either. Any tips or pointers?
