ITR 22mm Rear sway bar
Hi!! I was wondering if I bought the DCR5 R rear sway bar with the bushings can I still use my stock civic bracket?? Thanks!

i dont think u can... the rsx's brackets are alot bigger.... when i think about it u are going from a 15mm or 16mm whatever to a 22mm thick bar..
but then again i dont know 100% just trying to give my thoughts and input

I know the hole in the bushing gets bigger, but if it gets bigger its thus pushing on the bracket more. and when i bought my rear sway the rsx's brackets were larger to compensate for the larger bushings. So i guess then it comes down to squeezing the new bar into the old brackets.

The outer dimension of the bushing does not change. Only the hole does. I know this because I'm using the comptech direct replacement 22mm poly bushings, which swap out the ITR rubber ones, both of which go into the civic bracket, which is the RSX bracket.
If you have larger ones, its possible that you have energy suspension bushings, which come with their own brackets.
