HUGE problems installing springs stripped ahh
So yeah I swear nothing works out right with me and cars.
I went to install my progress springs tonight and yeah.
The top of the strut where the allen goes, well now thats all stripped and it's halfway off
Same with the other side. its so rusted and we have tryed everything and it like stripped the center so now I think im screwed.
I was going to use my stocks temporarily and now idk what to do. I can't get that nut off and yeah.....
Now when i get up tommrow, whats a decent price for them just to impact gun the 2 top bolts? Like 10$? I mean its going to take 2 seconds...
ugh im pissed becuase now ill have to buy new shocks like tommrow. blah
let me know or IM Me.

If they gun them off, they also have to gun them back on so you can drive it.... therefore, you're either paying them to install new ones, or you're renting the air tools to get those nuts off at home.
Either way.... not 10 bucks. However.... since the struts are junk now, all you need is the top hat.... drill the top of the piston out of the nut. I'd do it while its in the car so the assembly popping apart doesnt blow everywhere when it uncontrollably pops loose.
