i think the mc and pp valve are optional unless u have abs. dont forget the knuckle.
keep in mind it is a lot cheaper to get a used setup from ebay or a junkyard like so http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Civic...spagenameZWDVW

i know my friend wants to do this to his 98 civ

I'm looking into this swap too
Does anyone know if the Civic Si M.C. is compatible with a brake booster from a 98 Civic LX?

I guess my question is if I'm going to upgrade to the Civic Si MC do I need to replace the brake booster as well?

Even if you do not have ABS, proportioning valve must be changed. Otherwise if you have an EX just leave all the rest of the system and just swap out the rear lower trailing arms and the included e-brake cables. Done and done.

I am currently looking at the possibility of performing this conversion too. However, there is one potential problem and that is the ABS hook-up. I was going to get my donor parts from an Integra but the ABS cables are entirely different. Can these wires be spliced without causing any problems?
