Im gonna be having to replace some things on my brake system and instead of keeping it stock i want to do a full 99 si brake conversion. I know im gonna need from an si the mc, booster, ppv, hubs, calipers, rotors e brake cable and brake pads. i can get a discount from a honda dealership but i wanted to know if im missing anything else? and if there is gonna be any custom fabrication or will it be a bolt on????

i think the mc and pp valve are optional unless u have abs. dont forget the knuckle.
keep in mind it is a lot cheaper to get a used setup from ebay or a junkyard like so http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Civic...spagenameZWDVW
i know my friend wants to do this to his 98 civ

I'm looking into this swap too
Does anyone know if the Civic Si M.C. is compatible with a brake booster from a 98 Civic LX?
I guess my question is if I'm going to upgrade to the Civic Si MC do I need to replace the brake booster as well?

Even if you do not have ABS, proportioning valve must be changed. Otherwise if you have an EX just leave all the rest of the system and just swap out the rear lower trailing arms and the included e-brake cables. Done and done.

I am currently looking at the possibility of performing this conversion too. However, there is one potential problem and that is the ABS hook-up. I was going to get my donor parts from an Integra but the ABS cables are entirely different. Can these wires be spliced without causing any problems?
