This may be an odd question but what is the "liquid" distance between the two dots on the oil dipstick? I am currently near the lower dot but I am not sure how much oil I need to add.
Does the distance between the two dots equal a pint or a quart?

i think its about a quart between the first and second dot. add half a quart should be enough

ya, just add half a quart. let it run, check. and add more if needed
