Re: Removing Water Spots?
i'm sure the 3m swirl mark remover would get them out, that thing is awesome, just a pain in the *** to work with. (it even gets out scuff marks)
its probably not the best product for your problem though. try the detailing forum

Re: Removing Water Spots?
they do sell water spot remover...but then you have to wash your car again.
at the dealership, where i was a detailer, we had several other things that would work, depending on how tough the water spots/hard water marks were...anywhere from 'Velocity Glaze' to industrial 'Water Spot Remover'
check your local detailing place...if you don't know where that might be, just ask one of the dealerships where they get there stuff from. We use P&S.

i used a claybar kit to remove the water spots left from the windshield washer fluid just takes a little longer than normal to get it all off but it worked for me.

Just rewash the car in the evening or something. Or, use some Meguairs Quick Detailer and it comes right off. Claybar does take off waterspots, as well as other contaminants too.
