k20 em2 exhaust fitment

just finishing up k20 swap. trying to tie up some loose ends. will stock si headers and cat bolt up to em2 catback? will stock em2 shifter cables work with si tranny? are both o2 sensors required with aem ems?

I dont think stock EM2 Shifter Cables will work... but you can always try.

as far as the header bolting up..i dont think it will unless you weld it.

Re: k20 em2 exhaust fitment

you need the rsx/ep3 shifter cables, most people use k-pro not aem ems because of its ability to easily be tuned.

Re: k20 em2 exhaust fitment

Ep3 shifter cables wont work because the shifter is located in the dash... You need RSX cables.

Re: k20 em2 exhaust fitment

bought aem ems for d17 turbo then scraped it for the k20. i will eventually sell the ems and get kpro. i figured out that the stock shifter cables are too short. i wondering if the stock si catalytic converter will bolt up to em2 catback. i guess i will find out when the si cat i bought off of ebay comes in unless somebody tells me beforehand

HondaLuver will become famous soon enough
Re: k20 em2 exhaust fitment

stock wont work, you need rsx. use a rsx type S header(better upgrade options and a diffrent size than base or si header). no catback system will bolt up, you need a custom exhaust made.

get kpro

Why not use the AEM? Great and VERY powerful unit.
