stock injector wiring question

Hey, I need some help, please.

I'm wiring srt-4 injectors in place of stock ones and need info that have not been posted here yet.

I have d17a2, each injector has 2 wires, and one of 2 wires will always be YELLOW w/BLACK stripe on it and the other something else.

Is this YELLOW w/BLACK injector wire a positive (+) or negative (-) one?

In addition, (havent had a chance to search srt-4 forums yet), my srt-4 injectors have one GREEN w/ORANGE stripe wire and the the other one in a different colour.

Is this GREEN w/ORANGE injector wire a positive (+) or negative (-) one?

D17a2 injectors are 240cc, aren't they?

Thanks

Re: stock injector wiring question

I'm pretty sure it doesnt matter..... we just wired mine up without much regard for what wire went where, and they work fine. All you need to do is complete the circuit.

Re: stock injector wiring question

injectors are solenoids, complete the circuit and they work. but for future reference, common is usually 12v+ with ignition and the off color wire is the computer controlled ground path.

Re: stock injector wiring question

Thanks for replies, guys.

I'm going for AEM F/IC, just ordered my F/IC, PnP harness and AEM UEGO from dezod.
TSI fuel system has served itself well for these 2 years bossted, but it is very limited in tuning and it is not very efficuent past 6-7 psi on t25.
I also think AEM F/IC deserves a chance here. It is way ahead of emanage blue in controling closed loop fuel (thats what I've read) and easier to tune.

I've downloaded F/IC software and learning this now.
I have another thread running (with pics!) , I cant seems to get of how to read and configure ignition and fuel maps with F/IC software.

I'm very exited!
